Privacy Policy — TimeLapse Director

Last updated: April 25, 2026

TimeLapse Director is operated by 3D Gearheads. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Camera

The app uses your device camera solely to capture photos for your timelapse projects. Camera data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

Storage

The app reads and writes photos and videos to your device storage to manage your timelapse projects. This data never leaves your device.

In-App Purchases

The app offers a one-time premium upgrade processed by Google Play. Purchase records are managed by Google and RevenueCat. We do not store payment information.

Advertising

Free tier users may see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out via your device's ad settings.

Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service) to capture crash reports so we can identify and fix bugs. When the app crashes or encounters certain handled errors, Crashlytics records: stack trace of the error; device model, Android version, and app version; the screen you were on when the crash occurred; whether you have a Premium entitlement (true/false); and an anonymous installation ID assigned by Firebase.

We do not collect: your email address, name, photos, project content, location, contacts, or any other personally identifying information. Crash reports are retained by Firebase for up to 90 days.

A toggle to opt out of crash reporting is planned for a future Settings update. Until then, you can prevent collection by uninstalling the app. Google's Firebase data handling is described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Data Collection

Beyond the crash reporting described above, the app does not collect product usage analytics. The app does not sell or share your personal data. All project data remains on your device.
